Let a deserving family know about Project: Welcome Home! Fill in the fields below with the family’s contact information, and an email will be sent to them containing information about the program and instructions on how to apply.
Compuware Corporation (“Compuware”) is partnering with Habitat for Humanity Detroit (“Habitat”) in Project: Welcome Home (“Program”). The Program is designed to reward one deserving family with the opportunity to experience home ownership and move into a new home in time for the holidays (“Compuware House”).
The Program starts August 21, 2012 and runs through December 31, 2012 (“Promotion Period”).
Program is open to families that meet the Habitat Detroit applicant criteria, which can be found at http://www.habitatdetroit.org/home_ownership/ownership_overview/qualifications_requirements/. The program is void where prohibited.
To apply, an individual should visit the Program web site at www.iWish4Detroit.com to learn about the Program and application criteria. The applicant will then be directed to the Habitat Detroit site located at www.HabitatDetroit.org to complete the balance of the application. Every application must be submitted no later than September 5, 2012. There is a limit of one (1) entry per applicant.
All submitted applications will be evaluated pursuant to Habitat Detroit’s applicant screening process. Habitat Detroit will contact applicants whose entries meet the screening criteria for a follow-up interview in order to gather the balance of the remaining information necessary to select one lucky family. The follow-up interview will include, in some instances, an on-camera discussion about how moving into the Compuware House would impact the family’s lives. Finalists will be selected by September 10, 2012 and the winner notified by September 15, 2012. The candidate criteria, application and selection processes will be overseen by Habitat Detroit.
The lucky family will be notified by phone and email on September 15, 2012. The family may be required, as a condition of selection, to complete, execute and return within a specified time documents provided by Compuware and its program partners regarding the Compuware House. If Compuware is unable to deliver any of this paperwork, or if the family fails to return it in a timely manner, Compuware, in its sole discretion, may elect to select another family.
By participating in this Program, individuals (a) agree to abide by and accept these Project: Welcome Home Rules (“Rules”) as well as the decisions of Compuware and Habitat Detroit; (b) release Compuware, its directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from their participation in the Program; and (c) acknowledge that neither Compuware nor Habitat Detroit have made any representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, relative to the Compuware House. Any application will be void if altered, forged, fraudulent, inaccurate, incomplete or late. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN APPLICANT TO TAMPER WITH THE APPLICATION PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROGRAM MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, COMPUWARE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COOPERATE IN THE PROSECUTION OF ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL(S) AND TO PURSUE ALL REMEDIES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Compuware’s failure to enforce any term of these Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
Compuware reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any suspect application or applicant and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Program in its entirety. In the event of any cancellation, termination or suspension of the Program, notice thereof will be posted at www.iWish4Detroit.com and selection of the lucky family will be made according to Rules described above from among all eligible, non-suspect applications received as of the date of the termination, cancellation or suspension and Compuware reserves the right not to award the Compuware House to any family. Applications which do not comply with the Rules are subject to disqualification. These Rules together with any official Program communications distributed or published by Compuware, shall govern and apply to all applicants, applications and activity arising out of and relating to the Program and use of www.iWish4Detroit.com. These Rules cannot be modified or superseded except by Compuware, in its discretion, which it reserves the right to do. Any conflict between these Rules and those specified by Habitat Detroit shall be solely resolved between Compuware and Habitat Detroit in their sole discretion and all such decisions shall be final.
The identity of the lucky family selected to live in the Compuware House will be posted on www.iWish4Detroit.com. Such family further agrees that Compuware may publicly refer to the family though any media (television, radio, print, etc.). Without limiting the foregoing, Compuware may use the family’s name and likeness related to the Program. Additionally, the family agrees to attend Compuware promotional appearances regarding the Program. Such appearances are at the request and discretion of Compuware and shall include public recognition of the family’s participation in the Program.
